With all the talk going on spurred by Harvey, I figured an old war
story was appropriate.

A Sergeant on one of the police forces kept a big German Shepherd as
a pet. His neighbor had a beautiful long haired rabbit named Fluffy
they kept in a pen in their back yard. So, one day the sergeant comes
home and sees his dog holding something covered with mud and blood.
On inspection he realized it was Fluffy and Fluffy was quite dead.
The Sergeant quickly loked over at his neighbors and was relieved that
they weren't home. He took the deceased into his basement and
shampooed the dead rabbit, used his blow drier to dry it off and under
cover of darkness he sneaked into his neighbors yard and placed the
shampooed and blow-dried rabbit into the pen.

About a week later, his neighbor and he were talking and his
neighbor said, "You won't believe what happened."
  "What?"
"Well, Fluffy died about a week ago..."
"I'm terribly sorry to hear that."
"That isn't the worst of it. After we buried her in the back yard,
some sicko dug her up and gave her a bath and put her back into her
cage!"
