Homework assignment for next week….
At this week’s meeting we agreed that the current focus ought to be on what would the “foggy mirror” in the virtual studio might look like.
If we succeed in getting a number of people to pursue “open working” and posting “pinups” on a semi-regular basis, what might be a way to collect those pinups? People might post images (art, scans, stills from videos, phonecam shots, etc), textual thoughts or quotes or abstracts or notes, perhaps even scraps of sound (snatches of songs or soundtracks or recordings).
At the moment, the “strawman” that BJ and I have put up for you to knock down is the Virtual Studio Design Team site
… which uses a piece of software called Planet to just aggregate people’s blogs in the order that entries arrive.
So, the homework exercise is:
- imagine what ways you might think about presenting that information
- prototype your ideas with what’s on the design team site right now
Your choice of media (digital, porcelain, gouache 
you take you
pick), bring something along next Wednesday.
